Jose Bento Filho, 88, of Commerce entered into the glory of heaven on Thursday, May 20, 2021. His family was there to send him off with their love.  Jose was born on October 29, 1932 in Sobradinho, Brazil, the son of Jose Bento DeCosta and Maria Amelia DeCosta.

Jesus is survived by his parents: Jesus Salcedo and Ariakna Rayas and his sister Yamileth.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Interment service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery.
