Tommy Tillery

Tommy Tillery, 82, of Commerce passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Saturday, April 15, 2023.  Tommy was born on November 3, 1940 in Hot Springs, AR to Gilbert Tillery Sr. and Myrtle Harrison Tillery.  Tommy worked and retired from the City of Farmers Branch.  Tommy enjoyed playing golf and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his former wife and caretaker Cindy Smith, daughters: Holly Marie Tillery of Dallas, Karen Elaine Tillery of Florida; grandchildren: Tommy Lane Cox and Ryder Wes Tillery; sisters: Nancy Pike, Anita Wilson and husband Ray, Kathy Tillery and Julie Gunnoe; brothers: Danny Tillery and wife Linda, Jesse Tillery and wife Janette, Paul Tillery and wife Melody, Jimmy Dale Tillery and Tony Tillery and wife Shelly.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, son Tommy Dean Tillery and a brother Gilbert Tillery Jr.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR.  Burial will follow in Tillery family plot at Antioch Cemetery in Hot Springs, AR.
