Mary Sue Hanby Shoaff, 77, of Cumby passed away on Saturday, February 4,2023 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs.  Mary was born on July 19. 1945 in Dallas, TX to Raymond Hanby and Nona Rhoads Hanby. She married Jerry Franklin Shoaff on June 3, 1966 in Dallas, TX.  Mary was a Licensed Vocational Nurse until her retirement.  Her favorite thing to do was keeping up with children on Facebook, painting little houses & figurines and she loved bible study.  She was a member of Calvary Chapel, Greenville.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Anita Marie Shoaff Akers and husband Todd of Pecan Gap and Jennifer Dianne Shoaff Soccio and husband Paul of Commerce; sons: Don Taylor Shoaff and wife Vickie of Greenville, John Franklin Shoaff and wife Jennifer of Greenville and Otis Rudolfo Hanby and wife Dawn of Miller Grove; grandchildren: Daniel Akers of Pecan Gap, Rachel O'Brien, Stephen Shoaff, Nathan Shoaff, Ian Shoaff, Niles Shoaff and Zacchaeus Shoaff all of Greenville, Jason Shoaff and Ryan Brown both of Commerce, Elizabeth Lucas of Sulphur Springs and Charles Akers-McCormack and Jenny Akers both of Dallas.  She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Dylan McCormack, Mia McCormack, Chelsea McCormack, Johnathan Akers, Ellianna Shoaff, Dante LaPorte, Natalie Shoaff, Brantley Black, Colton Black, Daltan Black, Payton O'Neal, Blake Cisneros, Natalie Lucas, Adam Lucas and Everett Nantz.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Nona Hanby, husband Jerry Shoaff, brothers: Don Hanby and Otis Hanby and grandson Justin Kirby Brown.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Hall Cemetery in Lone Oak, TX, Memorial Service to follow at First Baptist Church of Greenville in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.; following will be fellowship at Calvary Chapel Greenville.
