William David Redus

November 25, 1952 — January 2, 2021

William David Redus

A time to be born and a time to die.."

William David Redus, 68, of Petty, TX, passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Saturday, January 2, 2021.  David was the oldest son of WV Redus and Sarah Redus.

David drove eighteen wheelers local and long haul for 48 years. He also rode bulls and rodeoed when he was younger.  In 1971 he was 2nd in the state of Texas for bull riding events.

He leaves behind a God fearing wife, Betty Redus, daughter Bailee Beth Redus, son David Colt Redus of Paris and 2 estranged children,a brother Mike Redus and wife Laurie and a sister Teresa Woodard and husband Lee. Also survived by nephews Matt Woodard and Cody Redus, niece Jessica Coropron.

Thanks to great friends, Kenny, Linda and Ashley Massey of Honey Grove, Gerald Free and wife Ruby, shane and Julie Crossland, Buddy and Robin Thomas all of Petty.  Ricky Don Hevron, Tanya Peevy, Rick and Martha McKee.  Many blessings to my brother in Christ, Barry Johnson.
