Tamika Nicole Brown

Tamika Nicole Brown, 47, of Commerce passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas.  She was born on May 7, 1979, in Ladonia to Jeffery Lynn "Bodean" Relford and Debra Brown.  Nikki worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide until her health prevented her from working.  She enjoyed reading books, studying her bible, shopping, putting jig saw puzzles together and cooking.

Nikki is survived by her mother Debra Brown of Commerce, her son Tequaylon Brown of Commerce, granddaughter Kaleyann Rickabaugh of Rockwall; sisters: Laquisha Worth of Tyler, Kandace Ikre and husband Donald of Celina, Anastasia Brown of Commerce and Delisha Relford of Duncanville; brothers: Tristian Brown and wife Kimberly of Magnolia, AR, Favian Brown of Commerce, Sean Lambert Relford and Derrick Relford and wife Alexis.  She is also survived by her aunt Delois Relford (Maurice) and uncles Billy Relford (Erica) and Benny Relford.

She was preceded in death by her father Jeffery Relford, grandparents: Doris Finney, Willie Finney, Joe Relford, Theo Brown and Oneal Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Joe Pease officiating.
