Shirley Ann Gaither

Shirley Ann Gaither, 74, of Honey Grove passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in a Dallas hospital.

She was born May 3, 1937, to Elvie Bledsoe Hammack and Everette Hammack in Celina, TX.

Shirley was a homemaker who loved to crochet and to be with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was very gracious and kind to all.

Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Burgess; her brothers: Doyle Hammack, Earl Hammack, Gary Hammack, R. C. Hammack; Johnny Hammack, Donald Hammack, and, her sisters: Earlene Hammack and Betty Walker.

Survivors include her daughters: Grace Shaw of Honey Grove, Darlene Koplin of Kansas, Donna Briscoe and Laura Wilson both of Purcell, OK.; 21 grandchildren; and, numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, July 29, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. at McCraws Chapel Cemetery in Honey Grove. Bro. Terry Paul Cunningham will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Shaw, James Shaw, Caleb Williams, Justin Smith, Louie Williams and Matthew Clark.
