Shari Llynn Linder

Shari Llynn Wood Linder, 50, of Quinlan, Texas, died July 24, 2009, in an accident in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on August 15, 1958, in Andrews, Texas the daughter of Edwyna Dame Wood and the late George Harold Wood of Brownwood. On February 16, 1979, she married Ricky Keith Linder, who survives.

Shari has been a long-haul truck driver with her husband for the past ten years. They traveled the United States doing what they enjoyed most, spending time together and seeing the country. Shari found enormous pleasure in pouring her life into many people she and her husband encountered during their travels. But, her greatest love was for her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Keith Linder, of Quinlan, TX, her mother Edwyna Wood of Brownwood, TX and her daughter and son-in-law Courtney and Wesley Jennings of Flower Mound, TX; daughter Jennifer Linder of Greenville, TX; son and daughter-in-law Joey and Shawn Galloway of Agua Dulce, TX; and grandchildren Hannah Galloway, Braden Linder, Jackson and Grayson Jennings; brother and sister-in-law Wes and Louise Wood of Brownwood, TX; in-laws Houston and Geneva Linder of Alba, TX; sister and brother-in-law Rodney and Susan Reed of Frisco, TX; uncle Buddy Dame of Brownwood, TX; and nieces and nephews Hillary and W.L. Wood of Slaton, TX and Remey and Ramsi Reed of Frisco, TX

She is preceded in death by her father George Harold Wood of Brownwood, TX; grandparents Clinton and Pauline Dame of Commerce, TX; and Calvin and Stella Wood of Stamford, TX

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August first, at First United Methodist Church in Commerce, Texas at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place the following week at Rosemound Cemetery. The family asks in lieu of flowers please consider donating to your favorite charity in her name.
