Sally Ann Brown, 85, of Klondike, Texas, passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville on May 5, 2025. She was born in Industry, Illinois on December 19, 1939; the daughter of William Snowman and Helen Coltis Snowman. She married Ledous Brown on May 7, 1966 in Oklahoma. They were married for more than 50 years until his passing in 2018. Sally was the cafeteria manager for Cooper ISD until her retirement. She enjoyed doing word searches and playing solitaire for her pastimes. Her grandchildren remember her also playing Dr. Mario and Duck Hunt with them during the summers they spent with her. They loved her banana bread, banana pudding and "Nanny cookies" as well.
Sally is survived by her two sons: Mike Foxall of Commerce and Mark Brown of Greenville. Additional surviving members in her family tree include two granddaughters: Bailey Brown and Kristy Grimes and three grandsons: Shawn Foxall, Blake Brown and Adam Donnell. The hosts of great grandchildren that are left to cherish her memory includes: three great granddaughters: Taylor Foxall, Addison Brown and Lydia Donnell and five great grandsons: Andrew Brown, Aiden Brown, Jack Brown-Mills, Houston Donnell and Jude Donnell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brothers: Duane Snowman and Willie Snowman and her sisters: Vivian Snowman, Betty Snowman and Dorothy Sexauer.
A funeral service for Sally will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel located at 1209 Live Oak Street in Commerce, Texas. Visitation will be one hour before the service at 10:00 a.m. Chaplain Tommy Morgan will officiate the service and those serving as honorary pallbearers include Josh Brown, Luke Brown, Brad Phifer, Jeff Phifer, Donna Brown and Robin Rizzo.
The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to Eden Brown for her afternoons spent with Sally this year.
