Robert James Holloway

Robert James Holloway, 92, passed away in Greenville, Texas, on Monday, November 8, 2010. He was a concrete truck driver for Crockett Concrete of Dallas.

Robert was born on February 27, 1918, in Dallas to John George Holloway and Adeline P. DeFarrier Holloway. He was a Veteran of WW II and served in the United States Army 112th Cavalry.

He is survived by a son, Michael Holloway of Ladonia; a brother, Fred P. Holloway of Commerce; a sister, Christine Johnson of Galveston; and a granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Holloway of Hurst.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Richard J. Holloway and William I. Holloway; and four sisters: Patricia Stipic, Josephine Holloway, Florence Pamora, and Rose Welter.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
