Rickey Lee Benson

Rickey Lee Benson, 65, of Tyler (formerly of Commerce) passed away early Wednesday morning May 21, 2025, at Paris Regional Health Center. He was born June 4, 1959 in Greenville, Tx., the son of Albert Lee Benson and Elois Julian Benson. Rickey attended Commerce schools and enjoyed listening to music, talking on CB radios and spending time with his son and grandkids. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles when he was able to ride them.

He is survived by his son Rickey James Benson and wife Jennifer of Tyler, his grandchildren: Bryson Benson and Alli-Paige Benson, a niece Christy Guest of Commerce; 2 great nephews, 2 great great nephews, and 1 great great niece.  Several uncles, aunts and cousins survive him as well.  Those who preceded him in death include his parents, grandparents and a sister, Connie King. 

A graveside service will be held  at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Brigham Cemetery in Campbell, Tx.
