Ray Martin Mackey

Ray Martin Mackey, 85, passed away at Hunt Regional Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 26, 2026 with his family by his side. Ray was born in San Antonio, Tx. on August 11, 1940; the son of Ray Maynard Mackey and Cecilia Ann Bickle Mackey. He retired from the aircraft industry where he worked for Lockeed Martin. Ray enjoyed anything to do with nature, gardening, hunting, farming, aircrafts and antiques.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children: Ray Maddison (Butch) Mackey, from Colorado, Rhonda Fox, from Idaho, Robert (Mike) Mackey, from New Mexico and Melinda Mackey McCull from Commerce, Tx. Other survivors include 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

A graveside service for Mr. Mackey will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Greenwood Memorial Park in Ft. Worth, Texas.
