Paulette A Irvin, 81, of Klondike passed away early Thursday morning January 15, 2026, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. She was born in Winnsboro, Tx., the daughter of Leonard E. Holt and Pauline Holt. Paulette married Thomas Lloyd Irvin on April 24, 1965, a union that would have been for 61 years this coming April.
Paulette was an individual that fit the description of the Proverbs 31 woman in many ways; she "worked willingly with her hands" at Haggard Slacks, U.S. Brass, Deluxe Cleaners and doing ceramics and sewing from her home for many years. One of her special projects was making her daughter's wedding dress. Paulette liked to be on the go; which included her daily trips to the DQ to get her Dr. Pepper fix. She was also an active member of the Klondike Church for many years where she blessed the congregation with her baking skills anytime they had a meal (and they ate often !!).
Paulette is survived by her husband, Tommy, son, Thomas Christopher Irvin (Susan) of Klondike, daughter, Sonja Sneed (Rodney) of Commerce, grandson, Clinton Sneed, granddaughter, Caitlin Tonko (Tyler), granddaughter, Adyson Irvin and grandson, Tyler Irvin, and two sisters also survive her, Maxine Koller (Thomas) of Canton, Tx. and Patricia Wood (Gerald) of Crandall, Tx. She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Paulette will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel located at 1209 Live Oak Street in Commerce, Texas. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at the New Klondike Cemetery in Klondike, Tx. immediately following the funeral service. Bro. Terry Bryan will officiate the services and pallbearers will be: Rodney Sneed, Clint Sneed, Chad Ballard, Charlie Guffey, Joe Grady Holt and Robert Wright.
