Paul Owens Parton

Paul Owens Parton was born on May 26, 1947, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021, age 73, of natural causes at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul and Cornelia were married in Duncan, Oklahoma, on March 5, 1997. He is survived by his wife Cornelia Ann Beare, daughter Arianne Parton and husband Adam Trites of Italy; stepchildren Kory Aoyama his wife Janice of Plano, Texas; Robbie Evans of Denton, Texas; Kelly Aoyama and his wife Ruby of Las Vegas, Nevada; Tamianne Parker of Little Elm, Texas; Bruce Yarbrough and his wife Joanne of Rockwall, Texas; 22 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. 
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Lattie P. Parton and June G. Loughridge of Duncan, Oklahoma, son-in-law Bryan Eugene Evans, grandson Bryan Eugene Evans Jr. of Denton, Texas, nephews Paul Cantwell of Duncan, Oklahoma and Matt Cantwell of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. 
Paul was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and devoted to serving members of his congregation. He and his wife were sealed in the Dallas Temple for time and all eternity in 1998. 
Funeral services will be held on May 29, 2021, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home 1209 Live Oak Street Commerce, Texas 75428. Viewing at 10:00 am with a celebration of his life at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Rosemound Cemetery, Commerce, Texas. Services will be broadcast via zoom; check the funeral home website for more details.
