Olan Milton Cook

Olan Milton Cook, 71, passed away Monday, March 2, at his home in Campbell, Texas.

He was a truck driver and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Olan was born in Quinlan, Texas, on March 8, 1937, to Pauline Ross Cook and Claude Cook. On July 21, 1966, Olan married Betty Jane Quisenberry in Commerce, Texas.

Survivors include two sons: James Olan Cook of Campbell and Joey Fouse of Austin; a daughter, Arlene Wallace of Greenville; a sister, Virginia Cook of Commerce; and three grandchildren: Beau Wallace, Maegen Wallace, and Ashlee Honer.

He was preceeded in death by his wife, Jane Cook; his parents; and, a niece, Katrina Cook.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, at Shady Grove Cemetery in Campbell, Texas, with Bill Mills and Terry Skaggs officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Ferrell, Ledeus Brown, Mark Brown, Scott Quisenberry, and Ted Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Jones, Barry Ward, and Bobby Young.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
