Minnie Rebecca Doolin

Rebecca Doolin, 82, of Mesquite reunited with her husband Norris in heaven on  May, 1, 2021.  Rebecca passed away peacefully in Dallas at Faith Presbyterian Hospice. Rebecca was born on January 26, 1939, in Canyon, Texas, the daughter of Johnny T. Williams and Ola Mae Johnson Williams. She married Norris Doolin on April 5. 1963 in Commerce, Texas; he preceded her in death on March 17, 2021, after nearly 58 years of marriage.

She is survived by her sons: Jimmy Doolin, of Wolfe City, Texas and Steven Doolin, of Mesquite, Texas; grandchild: Kayla Thacker, of Hampton, Virginia, great grandchildren: Blakelee Thacker and Willow Thacker of Hampton, Virginia, brother: Johnny Williams of Greenville, Texas and nieces: Melanie Williams and Janna Williams. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Norris Doolin, and sisters: Kathy Williams and Doris Schmidt.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Doolin on Saturday May 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel at 1209 Live Oak Street in Commerce, Texas.
