Mildred Melba Cook

Mildred Cook, 87, passed away Friday, May 8, 2009, in Clifton, TX. She was born in Horton to William Wade and Mattie Mae Kelley. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her brothers: Charles Wilson and wife, Connie of Temple and J. W. Wilson and wife, Brenda of Quinlan; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Middleton "Red" Cook; her parents; and her 9 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Horton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Gary Wilson, Steven Wilson, Eddie Wilson, Dwain Wilson, Corley Stevenson, and Jesse Wilson.
