Michael Todd Neel
Michael Todd Neel, 46, of Commerce passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018, in Greenville.
Michael was born in Garland, Texas, on December 26, 1971, to Frances Jean Bell and Howard Lee Neel. He worked for Weatherford as a Machine Operator. Prior to working at Weatherford, he worked side by side with his brother building homes in the Dallas area for over 15 years. Michael was an avid cook, winning awards for his B.B.Q briskets and chicken. Michael enjoyed watching wrestling, poker and especially his Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his parents, Frances and Howard Neel, daughters; Rachel Nichole Neel and Jamie Lynn Neel, his son, Michael Todd Neel Jr. step daughter, Kaylee Alexis Rush and his step-granddaughter, Violet Estell Rush. He is also survived by his siblings: brother, Dennis Wayne Neel (Larissa), brother, Howard Wade Neel (Heather), sister, Michele Lynn Linex (Martin) and his twin sister Mindy Tammy Walsh (Chuck) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. in The Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.
