Melvin Parker

Melvin Parker, 61, of Denton, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Denton.

He was born on October 19, 1948 to R.T. Parker and Maggie Mae Sheppeard in Commerce, TX.

Melvin is survived by a son, sisters Ella Mae Johnson and Shirley Brent both of Denton; brothers Louie Sheppeard of Denton, Lewis McBath of Ft. Worth and Harold Sheppeard. Melvin is also survived by one grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

Services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at noon in Honey Grove, TX. Burial is at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Honey Grove.
