Mary Irine Grant, 66, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Greenville.

Mary was born in Burkburnett, Tx, on April 6, 1943, to Sam Houston Wallace and Elsie Dean Shuey Wallace. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children: Johnnie William Grant and wife, Genia of Flower Mound, Ann Lambert (Margarete) and husband, James of Commerce; two grandchildren: Jarrod Michael Lambert and William James Lambert; a brother, Sam Wallace, Jr.; five sisters: Katherine Lindsey, Beulah Duke, Hazel Daniels, Clorine Moody, and Peggy Marshall. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Robert Wallace and Tex Wallace; and a sister, Corine Nolan.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 1, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jeff Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Sonora Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Grant, David Grant, James Lambert, Jimmy Marshall, Sr., Jimmy Marshall, Jr., and William Gillmore. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons: Jarrod Lambert and Jimmy Lambert; and, great-nephews Jay Marshall, and Corey Ballew.


Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
