Martha Ann Babb, 73, of Campbell, passed away Sunday December 31, 2017, in Greenville, TX.

Ann was born in Commerce, Texas, on November 15, 1944, to Roy Lee Hawkins and Frances Sparks Hawkins. She was a graduate of Commerce High School's class of 1963.

Ann and Jimmy David Babb were united in marriage on December 22, 1962, recently celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.

Ann's outgoing personality, ability to always find humor in things, and desire to do for others made it easy for her to take on the role as a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years in her home church, Shady Grove Baptist. She loved studying her Bible, taking notes, and was always eager to learn from God.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy, of Campbell, her two children: Lisa Lynn Tarrant (Keith), and Christopher James Babb (Michelle), both of Campbell, eight Grandchildren: Elizabeth Raylynn Tarrant, Nathallie Joyelle Tarrant, Reabeccah Loryann Tarrant, Madellyne Frances Tarrant, Kasey Christopher Babb, Lydia Michelle Babb, David Lee Babb, and Letitian Ann Babb. Other survivors include two brothers: Roy Gene Hawkins (Mary), and James Willard Hawkins (Bernice).

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Bill Ronald Hawkins, and a brother Joe Donald Hawkins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 11:00 A.M at Shady Grove Baptist Church of Greenville with Bro. James Ralson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mike Pecina, Kasey Babb, Ray Burke, Dee Trapp, Keith Tarrant and John Tyler.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Babb, Kenny Hovland, Dale Hawkins, David Hawkins, Dale Hovland, Keith Babb Erney, G. W. Babb, Mike Tyler and Johnny Stovall.

Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.

In lieu of the usual remembrances, the family has requested that you make donations to the Shady Grove Baptist Church Missions Fund or the American Cancer Society.
