Marie Hamm

Marie Hamm, 70, of Commerce passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at her home.

Marie was born in New Orleans, LA, on July 14, 1943, to Eva Schifano and Dominick Attardo. She was a nurse's aide at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce.

Marie enjoyed buying scratch offs and collecting Elvis; playing Bingo and going to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hamm; her parents; her sister, Elenora James; and, her brothers: Anthony Attardo and John Attardo.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula Lott of Commerce; her grandchildren: Bradley Hauerwas, Angela Montoya, Amanda Woodson and Justin Hauerwas all of Sulphur Springs; and, her great grandchildren: Heidi Paige Montoya, Karma Kamryn Hauerwas, Abigail Brooke Montoya, Kash Knight Hauerwas and Avery Marie Montoya all of Sulphur Springs.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 12 o'clock Noon at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel in Commerce. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Rev. Larry Maynard will officiate. Interment will follow in Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Hauerwas, Justin Hauerwas, Jeff Montoya, Rusty Woodson, Don Lott and Kevin Fisk.
