Margie Villarreal, 63, of Cooper, Texas passed away at her residence in Cooper on Friday, April 17, 2020. She was born in Peerless, Texas on August 18,1956, the daughter of Odell and Thelma (Booth) Foster.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was loved by anyone who knew her. Margie worked at Birchwood Manor for many years. She obtained her Med-Aid license at a young age and did this work until 2012. Margie was an avid reader; she loved to read murder mystery books and Amish Christian books. She also enjoyed doing cross stitch and paint by numbers. Margie was an outdoor person, she did not like being cooped up inside. She loved to go camping and fishing. Although she loved to do many things, there were two things that she loved to do most and that was to go to the casino and to play bingo.

Besides the love she had for her husband of 49 years, Margie had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren: Sierra, Kyliee and Zachary; she loved them very dearly. Margie was proceeded in death by a sister, Lisa Moore and her father Odell Foster. Her surviving relatives are her mother, Thelma Foster, husband of 49 years, Raymond Villarreal, her sons: Anthony (Pooky) Villarreal and wife Casey, Joseph (JoJo) Villarreal and wife April, Christopher (Jake) Villarreal and Shawn (Bubba) Villarreal, and one sister, Michelle Belz, all of Cooper, Texas. She is also survived by her 3 loving grandchildren: Sierra Villarreal, Kyliee Villarreal, and Zachary Villarreal and his wife Vicky. Margie had 4 nephews: Patrick Belz, C J Belz, Cody Moore, and Randy Hargrave. She also had one niece Lashonda Taylor and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Peerless Cemetery on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Caleb Wright officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Fuller, Gene Booth, Anthony Roberts, Buren Winters, James Villarreal, and John Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be her sons: Anthony Villarreal, Joseph Villarreal, Christopher Villarreal and Shawn Villarreal, and two nephews: Patrick Belz and C J Belz.

The Peerless Cemetery is located in north Hopkins County on CR 4755 off of FM 71 in the Peerless community.
