September 16, 1936 – February 15, 2020

Preceded in death by parents Lewis and Cuba Freeman and husband W.C. Ferrell, Sr. Survived
by daughter Frela A. Ferrell, son W. C. Ferrell Jr. & daughter-in-law Lisa Ferrell also,
Grandchildren: Caitlin Ferrell, Forrest Ferrell, Willie C. Ferrell III & wife Graciela Ferrell, and
Aaron Ferrell and Great grandchildren: Cayden and Easton Carlton Ferrell. Margaret attended
East Texas State University, now known as Texas A&M-Commerce, and received a Bachelor of
Music Education, a Master of Science degree and did post graduate work in Counseling and
Psychology, becoming a Licensed Counselor. She taught private piano lessons and later taught
music in Dallas ISD. In 1977 she was employed as a Counselor for Dallas ISD and Eastfield
Community College. She was a long time member of the Landry Baylor Fitness Center and the
DAC Country Club. She was Director of the 3500 block of Delford Circle Association and
attended, with her husband, the White Rock United Methodist Church in Dallas and was a
member of the Seminar Sunday School Class. She enjoyed family, friends, bridge, canasta and
laughter. She loved the arts, musicals and attended the theater regularly. Margaret and her
husband were members of the Founders Circle at Texas A&M University-Commerce and she
served as a director for many years. She was loved well and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Ferrell at the Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie, Texas on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
