Maj. Sam Dehaving Merrill, 88, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009, in Dallas.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Clara Fay Parrish, his second wife, Lanell Sammon, his brother, his sister, and his son, J. M. Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Roy Lee Dittmar officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Pecan Gap Cemetery.
