Mae Addline Black

Mae Addline Black, 94, passed away November 17, 2009, at the Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce, Texas.

Mae was born on January 16, 1915, to Beacher Cameron and Ethel Richardson in Scranton, TX. On August 30, 1931, in Waurika, OK, she married Eldon Black.

Mae is survived by her children: Brenda Black White of Commerce, TX, Marland Black of Wichita Falls, TX, Curtis Black of Commerce, TX, Connie Skaggs of Commerce; TX; grandchildren: Benny Andrews of El Paso, TX, Leland White of Henderson, TX, Story Levy of Virginia Beach, VA; Christopher Cameron White of Sherman, TX; Karben Black of Camarillo, CA, Marland Black II of Oxnard, CA, Susie Black of Wichita Falls, TX, Pepper Wright of Lincoln, AK, Anthony Perez of Commerce, TX, Melinda Smith of Rockwall, TX; one sister Bonnie George of Wills Point, TX; 14 great-grandchildren; and, 10 great great-grandchildren.

Mae is preceded in death by her husband Eldon Black; two children: Bobby Andrews and Jackie Mae Black; one grandchild, one great-grandchild; seven brothers; three sisters; and her parents.

Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2009, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Jones Walker & Son Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 1:30 pm at the Atwell Cemetery in Atwell, Tx.
