Ella Lucille Funderburk

Mrs. Lucille Funderburk, 93, of Longview, formerly of Commerce, passed away at Havencare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Longview, Tx. on Monday morning April 18, 2022. She was born in Commerce on May 19, 1928, the daughter of John A. Watson and Rosie Barber Watson.  She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Lucille married Bevlon Franklin Funderburk on June 1, 1946 in Commerce, Texas. She was a homemaker that enjoyed horses, dogs (particularly boxers), antiques, and country western dancing. Lucille was of the Baptist faith.

Lucille is survived by her daughters: Kay Heinsohn (David) of Longview, Tx., Cynthia Price (Mark) of Cleveland, Tx., grandchildren: Christina Heinsohn of Dallas, Tx. and Sharon Heinsohn Mueller of Palm Bay, Florida and great grandchildren: Morgan Mueller of South Carolina and Jonah Heinsohn of Longview, Tx.  A brother, Melvin Henry Watson of Georgetown, Tx. also survives her. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband.

A graveside service for Mrs. Funderburk will be held at the Brigham Cemetery in Campbell, Tx., Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.
