May the Good Lord and Angels open their arms to Linda Mae Crutchfield who went home to the Lord on Monday, august 25, 2014, in Lubbock, Texas.

On a glorius day in Paris, Texas, William Scharnhorst and Dorothy Clinton welcomed their baby girl on April 3, 1942.

Two men, Linzy "Buddy" Bell and Edgar Dee Crutchfield, have had the honor of having her hand in marriage.

Linda held many titles in her life: caregiver, bartender, waitress, store clerk, thrift queen, gambling extraordinaire, western store owner, but her most treasured title was awesome Mama/Nanny. Her hobbies included bingo, slot machines, and spoiling her babies.

Linda is survived by brother Matt Dunham and wife Donna, son Walter Bell and his wife Dana, son Randy Bell and wife Sara, and daughter Cindy Medrano and husband Abel. She was a special Mama to Phillip Thompson, Mike Graham, and Clonie Beatty and was a best friend to Norma Crutchfield. She was Nanny to many biologcal and honorary grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors also include many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda will now join twin great-granddaughters Linzy and Leslie Bell, three sisters, one brother, and Bell and Crutchfield members.

Mama/Nanny know that you are dearly loved and will never be forgotten. May our family continue your legacy of love, life, and laughter.

May the bingo gods be ever in your favor!

Graveside services will be Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the . Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 7:00-9:00 p.m.
