Lillian D. Logue

Mrs. Lillian Logue, 93, of Garland, formerly of Commerce, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015, in Garland.

Lillian was born in Peoria, IL., on June 03,1922, to Bertha Ida Otelia Sieks and August Henry Sieks. She was married to Jay L. Logue who preceded her in death in 2008. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce and the Delphian Club. Lillian enjoyed bridge, mahjong, papertole, knitting, painting, ceramics, stainglass, quilting, cooking, sewing and reading.

Survivors include her two daughters: Wanda Logue Stanley and husband Gary of Plano and Maxine E. Logue of Garland, her two sons: Karl Logue and husband Jim of Cedar Park and Guy Logue of Dallas, her four grandchildren: Heather E. Charles, Gregory W. Stanley, Bradley L. Logue and Patrick A. Stanley; and, her seven great-grandchildren: Nathan Stanley, Joseph Logue, Justin Stanley, Brandon Stanley, Austin and Dylan Charles and Jefferson Stanley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay; her parents, Bertha and August; her seven brothers: Elwood, Frederick, Melvin, Kenneth, Elmore, Richard and Norman; her two sisters: Vangine and Alice; and, one great-granddaughter.

Graveside services at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 12:00 noon, with Dr. Gregory Neal officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 5200 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, TX 75235.
