Laura Mae Goudeau-Perdue

Laura Mae Goudeau-Perdue, 74, of Cumby, joined her loved ones in heaven at her residence on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Laura was born on November 23rd, 1946 in Houston, TX to George and Mabel Wilson. She married her soulmate Larry T Goudeau on April 11th, 1975 in Tennessee. Together they had five children and they remained in love until Larry’s passing in 2005. 

She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, George and Mabel Wilson, husband Larry T Goudeau, her daughter Mary Christene, and her granddaughter, Jenna Christene. 

Laura is survived by her sister Katie and Robert Vaughn of Terrel, Tx, son, Lonnie Goudeau, of Cumby, Tx, daughter Lynda and husband David Weatherbee, of Cumby Tx, son Maurice Goudeau, of Cumby, Tx and daughter Marci and husband Steven Miller of Ladonia, Tx. 

She is also survived by her grandchildren; Alexandria Goudeau, Kyle Goudeau, Garrett Goudeau, Jacey Weatherbee, Justin Bratton-Miller, Layne Miller, Kylee Miller, Jordyn Cash, Georgia Goudeau, Rihanna Shepherd, Harley Miller, Nova Goudeau, and great grandson Jacob Goudeau-Campbell. As well as, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. 

Laura loved her family deeply, was always making people laugh and although she was ornery, she was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.  

For those attending her services, mask are required and social distancing will be observed.
