Larry Alonzo Dugan

Larry "Cut" Dugan, 67, of Commerce passed away early Thursday morning May 27, 2021 at Hunt Regional Hospital of Greenville.  Larry was born in Commerce on August 5, 1953 to Alonzo Dugan and Viola Harper Dugan.

Larry was employed and retired from Williams Chevrolet in the detail department.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and saying "Get Down On It!

Left to cherish his memories are: son, Avery dugan and wife Erika of Duncanville, TX; sisters, Linda Love of Wichita, KS, Brenda Harris of Commerce, TX and Ava Dugan of Sulphur Springs, TX.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grand children and a host of other family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Patsy Burley, a brother Monty Dugan and a nephew Courtney Dugan.

Viewing will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Jones-Walker & Son from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Dixon officiating. Burial following at Rosemound Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Melvin Pannell, Daryl Martin, Clifton Blair, David Pannell, Larry Chastain and Tyrone Hines.

I remember working with Cut at Williams Motors back in the day. He was one of a kind for sure and will be missed by many. He never forgot me because I used to see him around from time to time and yall to him. May you RIP Cut. Sincere condolences to family and friends. Prayers for peace and comfort on the days ahead of you.
