June Cordelia Junell

June Cordelia Junell, 89, of Lone Oak, Tx. passed away early Sunday morning, July 5, 2020 in Sulphur Springs. June was born in Commerce, Tx. on June 14, 1931, the daughter of John Arnold and Lena Sanders Arnold. She was a retired telephone operator having worked for 30 plus years in the industry. After retiring from the telephone office, June enjoyed her grandchildren. They were the light of her life and they in turn deeply loved their "Granny June". Her happiest days were spent with her grandchildren, friends, and going to the casino. 

June is survived by her daughter, Carol Smith and husband Steven of Lone Oak, four grandsons: John Smith and wife Brooke of Lone Oak, Eric Smith and wife Cassy of Greenville, Dustin Smith and wife Shaya of Lone Oak, and Adam Philyaw of Richardson; and one granddaughter: Samantha Kelley of Ft. Worth. Other survivors include: great granddaughter, Taytum Smith of Greenville and great grandson, Liam Kelley of Ft. Worth and extended family: LD and Dian Loftis of Cooper and the Lowery brothers of Cumby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Arnold, a son, Andy Junell, and two brothers: Wayne Arnold and Maurice Arnold.
