Judith Lynn Davis

Judith (Abbott) Davis, 81 of Campbell, passed away Monday evening, September 16, 2019, in Greenville. She was born in Campbell on March 6, 1938, to Harmon and Bertie Newman Abbott.

Judy lived a good life. She worked for the government for many years. She loved to cook and share her recipes, especially with the younger members of her family. She enjoyed people watching, shopping and she was quite the "fashionista" (on a dime). She was a faithful and dedicated member of Shady Grove Baptist Church for many years, she loved her family dearly.

Judy is survived by her daughter Cathy Catchings, Robert & Ellen Murphy, grandchildren; Jason & Erin, Jeremy & Kim, Joshua & Michelle, Joseph, Evan, Megan, Justin & Alecia, 9 great- grandchildren, a sister Norma Smith and one niece Dana Potter.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Vicky McPherson, son Joe Hartgrove and her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 2:00, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 3507 FM499, Greenville, Texas with Bro. James Ralson officiating.
