Juanita Gunter

Juanita Gunter, 98, of Commerce passed away at her residence on May 28, 2010.

Juanita was born on August 21, 1911 to William David and Flora Gertrude Raines in Mt. Zion Community, Hopkins County, Texas.

Juanita worked for ETSU Cafeteria for 22 years and Commerce High School for 10 years and worked hard all her life and enjoyed crocheting.

Juanita is survived by her son Gary David Gunter, Troop, TX; a grandson, Charles Jason Gunter, a granddaughter Anna Marie Gunter, and a sister, Mattie Virginia Wallace.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Evelene Gertry of Sherman and Minnie Elizabeth Bailey of Blooming Grove, TX.

Visitation will begin at noon on Sunday and continue until service time at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
