Jonathan Matthew Hollon

Jonathan Matthew (Matt) Hollon 50, of Cumby, Texas, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 19, 2022, in Chula Vista, California. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Christopher Wayne Sims of Cumby, Texas and his Grandparents: S.M. and Velma Sims of Farmers Branch, Texas, and Gilbert and Lena Holcomb of Brashear, Texas. 

Matt is survived by his parents Steve and Sandra Sims of Cumby, Texas, two sons: Hayden Gerald Scott Hollon and Kandice of Commerce, Texas and Ryan Matthew Klotz of Lincoln, Nebraska. A sister Jennifer Lynn Huie and Ray of Lantana, Texas, Grand children: Kace, Lexy, Brayden, Zayley, many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews. 

Matt was self-employed and loved to Travel, He enjoyed Fishing and various water sporting activities. 

Matt graduated from Cumby High School, Class of 1990, Cumby, Texas. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home located in Commerce, Texas, with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.
