James H. Riffle

James H. Riffle, 88, of Commerce passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Commerce.

James was born December 21, 1923, in Ward, AR, to Lillie Mae Lyons and John Daniel Boone Riffle. On May 14, 1954, he married Lillian Fulfer in Commerce. He was a self-employed mechanic.

He was a WWII United States Marine Corps veteran.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lillian Riffle; his daughter, Rhonda Riffle; his brother, Carl Riffle; and his sister, Ida Wallace.

Survivors include his three sons: Ronny L. Miller of Rusk, James D (Dougy) Riffle of Commerce, and John T. Riffle of Commerce; his daughter, Joyce E. Garza of Honey Grove; 7 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons; and, 6 great granddaughters.

Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel at 2:30 p.m.

Interment with full military honors will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Duke, David Ketner, Jose Pilar Larios, Lisho Ramirez, Clifford Horton, Jeffery Benson, Jeff White and Grant Crowell.
