Ionia L. Branom
Ionia L. Branom, 77 of Commerce passed away at the Honey Grove Nursing Center on June 5, 2010.
Ionia was born on August 27, 1932 in Lamar County to Tilmon Beatty and Lula Genova Brackeen Leatherwood. She graduated from E.T.S.T.C.
Ionia is survived by her husband Doyle Branom; two daughters: Dawn Dorrough and husband, John and Dixie Gordon and husband, Jeff; a brother Wilton Leatherwood; grandchildren: Lisa Baker, Joshua Lowrie, and Geoffrey Dorrough; and great-grandchildren: Autumn Price, Dokota Baker, and Dani Lee Baker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, and two sisters: Joan Pruitt and Nelda Easley.
