Glayds Ann Earwood

Gladys Ann Earwood, 72, passed away on October 12, 2010 at her Kaufman residence.

She was born on September 4, 1938 in Commerce, TX to Harley and Evalee Reed Tucker. Gladys married Roy Earwood on June 2, 1956 in Rockwall, TX.

Gladys is survived by her children: Bill Earwood and wife, Janine of Carmel, IN., Thomas Earwood and wife, Kathy of Kaufman, TX, Timothy Earwood and wife, Shirley of Cumby, TX, Janet Smith and husband, Walter of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Karla Petty and husband, Clifton of Kaufman, TX.; 3 brothers: Cullen Tucker of Cumby, TX, James Tucker of Sulphur Springs, and Glen Tucker of Cumby, TX; 3 sisters: O'Dell Tarpley of Kaufman, TX, Hazel Gregor of Cumby, TX, and Fern Hill of Ladonia, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; both parents; a son Johnny Earwood; three brothers: Warren Tucker, Thomas Tucker, and Harley Tucker Jr.; and a grandson, Trey Earwood.

Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Mt. Zion Church, Hwy. 11, Commerce, TX followed with interment at Emblem Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home, Commerce.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Reed, Brent Benge, Tommy Tucker, David Tucker, Steve Tucker, and Jason Tucker.
