Gary Lynn Williams

Gary Lynn Williams, 61, of Dallas, Tx. passed away very unexpectedly early Monday morning; July 21, 2025 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center of Dallas.  He was born November 6, 1963 in Commerce, Tx. to James Lynn Williams and Edna Faye Burnette Williams.

Gary enjoyed fishing, radio controlled cars and tinkering with his prize Camaros, as well as visiting his loving family.  He was a mechanic by trade; following in his Dad's footsteps.  Gary enjoyed life to the fullest!!  He is survived by his loving sister Janna (Williams) Carter and brother-in-law Bill Carter of Cooper and special great nephew, Jaxon Morrison, step mother Vicki Williams (whom he referred to as Mom) of Cooper, Nieces Jenna Ditto (Eric) of Cumby and Jami Vela (Jadrian) of Cooper and 2 additional great nieces and 2 additional great nephews.  Two Aunts and several cousins, also several special friends and fishing buddies in Dallas survive him as well.  Those who preceded him in death include both parents, all grandparents, two brothers: James Ray Williams and Kenneth Bryan Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 23, 2025 in the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel located at 1209 Live Oak Street in Commerce, Tx. Interment will follow the service at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Tx. with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.

Gary will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.
