Gary Don Hooten

Gary Don Hooten, 41, of Klondike, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009, in Greenville, Texas.

Gary was born on December 19, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to Richard L. and Dorothy Hooten. He was a member of The Church at Klondike. Gary loved the outdoors and was an avid bow hunter and fisherman.

Gary is survived by his children: Courtney and Hunter from Lavon; and their mother Jody Hooten from Lavon; a sister, Sherrie Phelps and spouse Joel; his parents; his niece, Summer Phelps; his nephew, Benjamin Phelps; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held at The Church at Klondike, 131 County Road 2020, Klondike, Texas, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at 2:00 p. m. until service time.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. at The Church at Klondike with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.

Private interment services for the family will follow.
