Freida Jo Teel

Frieda Teel passed away at her home in Klondike on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.

Freida was born in Texarkana on November 17, 1946, to Geneva Frerichs and Joe Starkes. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Freida enjoyed gardening and her animals; and, she especially loved her church. There was no greater joy in her life than Henley, her granddaughter, who resided with her.

Freida opened her home and her heart annually to what is known as the "Shiloh Gatherin'". She loved everybody and everybody loved her.

Left to treasure her memories are her daughters: Chelly Dixon and her husband Dallas of Trinity, Texas, and Tiffany Woolbright of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren: Colby Hudnall and his wife Emily, Micayla Hudnall, Jamee Brown, Kirby Dixon, Dakota Dixon and Henley Woolbright. She also leaves behind numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Viewing will be on Friday, October 10, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 12:00 o'clock Noon at Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie, with a visitation one hour prior to service time with Shannon Moreland officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brad Cameron, Tammy Giles, Jake Haddock, Wes Haddock, Charlie Miller and Steven Tally.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Debore, Scott Daggart, Steve Speight, Richard Miller, Clifton Haddock and Larry Thompson.

Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
