Elois Benson

Elois Julian Benson, 71, of Commerce passed away at Baylor Hospital in Dallas on September 28, 2010.

Elois was born of January 31, 1939 in Simpsonville, TX to J.F. and Lena Edith Jordan Julian. She married Albert Benson on September 3, 1955 in Greenville, TX and together ran Benson Bros wrecker service for 32 years.

Elois is survived by her loving husband; her children Connie King and spouse, Mark of Commerce and Rickey Benson of Commerce; one brother, Jerry Julian of Little Elm; one sister, Gail Meador of Commerce; her grandchildren: Christy Clark and spouse, Clark of Commerce and Rickey J. Benson and Spouse, Amy of Seagoville; and great-grandchildren: Christopher Gutierrez, Cody Clark both of Commerce, and Bryson Benson of Seagoville.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her brothers and sisters: Leo Julian, Linda Julian, Nancy Julian; and brother-n-laws: Elvin Benson, Hugh Benson, Sam Benson, and Thomas Benson.

A graveside service will be conducted at Brigham Cemetery on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m .with Jason Rector officiating.

Visitation will be at Jones-Walker & Son on Friday, October 1, 2010 starting at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers are Mark Crouch, Fred Eaton, Jason Cunningham, Justin Cunningham, Jake Cunningham, and Tony Ketner.
