Ella Frances Lee

Ella (Doll) Frances Lee, 89, of Commerce passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 22, 2013.

Doll was born in Cass County, Texas, to Ella Johnson and Tom Johnson on May 28, 1927. She was raised by her loving uncle and aunt, George and Clara Bennett. She was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah Temple Baptist Church in Commerce.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Wanda Neal (Lawrence) of Commerce; her adopted daughter, Laverne Allen; several nieces: Lay Joyce Allen, Patricia Allen, Phyllis Drennen, Lois Adams, Cheryl Gotcher, Terri Starlin, Carmen Jones, Rolonda Henry, Roshunda Pannell, Helen Pannell, and Gene McDowell; her niece and primary caretaker, Martha Annette Johnson; her nephews: Jerry Pannell, Jr., Kenneth Lewis and a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ella Johnson; two sisters: Clara Fields and Alva Lula Johnson Pannell; her brothers: Curtis Johnson, Beddie Johnson and Tommy Johnson; her aunt and uncle, Clara and George Bennett and special family friends: Cleon and Valerie Flanagan and children and Estella Brown.

Pallbearers will be Randle Dugan, Avin Johnson, Willie Blow, Harry Turner, Jerry Kelly, Larry Dugan, Anthony Henry and Anthony Henry II .

Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug Stiggers, William Harrison, Charles Neal, James Allen, Lawrence Neal and Arin Henley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Mt. Moriah Temple Baptist Church, 1205 Champion Lane, Commerce, with Pastor L. G. Dixon, Eulogist, officiating.

Interment will follow in Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
