Edith Cheryl Tucker

Edith Cheryl Tucker, 57, beloved daughter and sister, was born August 15, 1952, to Doyce and Juanita Tucker in Commerce, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyce and Juanita and her brothers, Kenneth and Jimmy Tucker.

She is survived by her sister, Susan Jarosz and husband, Ken of Wichita Falls; her sister-in-law, Sarah Tucker of Commerce; her nephews: Kenny Tucker and wife, Merle, Greg Steger and wife, Sarah; and, nieces: Kathy Bone and husband, Johnny of Hazel Green, AL; Gina Maness and husband, Matt of Wichita Falls, Ginger Steger of Wichita Falls, Janet Powell and husband, Dan of Greenville; Jackie Tucker of Greenville; two aunts: Lorene Hoffman and Sallye Jo Thomas of Greenville; and numerous grand-nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cheryl, known affectionately as Sissie to her family, only knew how to give love throughout her life. She never met a stranger nor did she ever forget anyone she met. She had a great love of the outdoors and when growing-up could be found outside on the farm most of the day. She was cheerful and loving to all she was around and adored by her entire family. She was a special angel from Heaven for all of her family and friends. Her passing will leave a large void in anyone's life who knew her. She also enjoyed coloring when she was indoors and was always excited when anyone came to visit. Cheryl absolutely loved all the babies and tried to "mother" them all.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2009, in Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Lee Roy Dittmar officiating. Interment will follow at Sonora Cemetery, Fairlie, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday beginning at 1 p.m. until service time.
