Connie Linda Skaggs

Connie Linda Skaggs,74, of Commerce passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday morning, November 4, 2025. She was born in Cisco, Texas on February 23, 1951, the daughter of Eldon Black and Mae Addline Cameron Black. Connie married Terry Skaggs on December 26, 1975; a union that would have been 50 years this December. Connie worked in the Home Health Industry for many years.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Terry, a son, Anthony Perez from Sulphur Springs and a daughter, Connie Melinda Houghton of Dallas. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Zachariah Smith of Paris, Tx.,  Hannah Smith of Keller, Tx.,, Lyndsey Krpan of Paris, Tx., Cory Houghton of Wylie, Tx., and her great grandson Alvis Krpan also of Paris, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Bobby Andrews and Curtis Black and three sisters: Marland Black, Brenda Black White, and Jackie Mae Black.
