Christopher M. Hubbert

Christopher Hubbert, 31, of Commerce passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, in Commerce.

Christopher was born in Dallas, Texas, on October 1, 1985, to Karen Stovall and Michael Robert Hubbert. He was a graduate from Commerce High School and Texas A&M Commerce with a degree in business. He was a Mortgage Underwriter. Chris was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast and loved being out-of-doors. Last year Chris fulfilled his life-long dream of backpacking through the Colorado wilderness.

Survivors include his parents: Karen and Michael; his sisters: Meagan E. Heath (Alex) of Greenville and Emily A. Ross (Tommy) currently stationed in Groton, Connecticut; his nephew; Aiden Heath; his grandfather, Robert S. Hubbert of Forney, Texas; his grandfather, Jerry M. Stovall and wife Judi of Rockport, Texas; his grandfather, Tom Hails of Panama City, Florida; his uncle, Courtney Stovall of Rockport, Texas; his aunts: Vicki Bacon (Kevin) of Kaufman, Texas, Debi Lewis (Chris) of Kaufman, Texas, and Teri Busby of Pottsboro, Texas; and, his cousins: Christina, Jeff, Jennifer, Clayton, Connor, Jesse and Layla.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Commerce, 1216 Monroe St. with Rev. Krista Rasco officiating.
