Loretta W. Harrison

Loretta W. Harrison, 81, of Commerce passed away at her residence surrounded by loving family on Wednesday morning, September 23, 2026.  She was born on December 25, 1944, in Commerce to Johnny Randolph Wilson and Doris Marie Dugan Wilson.  She worked many years in management at various department store.  She also worked at Sweetie's Donuts years ago.  She met and married Leon Harrison on January 12, 1963, and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2023.

Loretta is survived by her daughter Shawna Kay Harrison of Commerce, her sons: Shaun C. Harrison of Jacksonville, FL, Anthony G. Harrison (Rebecca) of Oak Cliff, TX and Steven R. Harrison (Rhonda) of Mesquite; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brothers Gerald Wilson of Tyler and Medley Wilson (Barbara) of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Doris Marie Wilson, daughter Amanda Marie Harrison and sisters: Beverly Evans and Patricia Ward.

Viewing will occur between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home located at 1209 Live Oak Street in Commerce, Tx.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Morian Baptist Church with Rev. L.G. Dixon officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Fabian Fields, Maurice Ford, Brandon Fulton and Victor Harrison
