Carolyn "Juhree" Moore

Carolyn "Juhree" Moore, 63, of Klondike died May 12, 2009 at her home following a long battle with kidney failure and dialysis.

Services will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Commerce. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Shiloh.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

She was born in Klondike on August 14, 1945 to Wade H. and Coma Lee West Moore. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1963.

She had spent many years of her life in bookkeeping and accounting and made a career change later in life. She graduated from Paris Jr. College School of Licensed Vocational Nursing in 1994 and then went on to obtain her Registered Nurse degree in 1998. She was a member of the Cross Trails Cowboy Church.

She is survived by a son, James Allen Dunn Jr. and wife Meredith of Royse City, and 3 grandchildren. She is also survived by a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a special granddaughter in heart, Heather Buompensiero of Temecula, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wadie and Lanny; and one sister, Cynthia Sue.

Following her wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or to the Paris Junior College Scholarship Nursing Foundation where a scholarship in her name has been established.
