Carol Joyce Strode

Carol Joyce Ferguson Strode, 65, of Ben Franklin, TX, passed away on June 5, 2011, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs, TX.

Carol was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Cooper and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles Russell Strode; and, her parents: Euralee Ferguson and Beulia Lena DeLong Ferguson.

Survivors include her sons: Brian Strode and wife, Tiera, and Timothy Strode and wife, Michelle; her daughters: Tammy Strode and Brenda Strode; her brothers: Rev. Jimmy Ferguson, Jerry Ferguson, Joe Ferguson; her sisters: Patsy Hart, Margie Strode, and Brenda Smith; her grandchildren: Colton Strode, MaKayla Strode, Jon Strode, Haley Strode, Megan Bartlett, Seth Strode, Payton Strode; and her great grandson, Colby Strode.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the First Assembly of God Church in Cooper with Rev. Steven Miller officiating.
