Calletano Laguna-Mejia

Calletano Laguna-Mejia, 64, of Commerce passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on August 7, 1961, in Guanajuato, Mexico to Jesus Mejia and Felix Laguna. Calletano worked his whole life in construction and found great joy in remodeling homes. 

Calletano leaves to cherish his memories 3 daughters: Maria Laguna (Gorge) of Nashville, Guadalupe Laguna (Isac) of GTO, Mexico and Remedios Laguna Soto (Antonio) of Gto, Mexico; 3 sons Gerardo Laguna Soto (Alma) of Commerce, Antonio Laguna Soto (Monica) of Gto, Mexico and Ricardo Laguna Soto (Brenda) of Gto, Mexico.  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 sisters: Juana Laguna Mejia (Gilberto), Maria Laguna Mejia and Julia Laguna Mejia; 3 brothers: Antonio Laguna Mejia, Alfonso Laguna Mejia and Serafin Laguna Mejia all of Gto, Mexico.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
