Brenda Lee Aubrey

Brenda Lee "Shug" Aubrey, 53, of Ladonia, TX passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday afternoon April, 20, 2019 in Greenville, TX.

Brenda was born November 28, 1965 in Plainview, Texas, the daughter of Emma Lee Crosby Aubrey and Floyd Aubrey. She was a Nurses Aide. Brenda loved music, playing cards and dominoes, going to the casino and watching soap operas, but most of all loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters: Shakemala Aubrey (Terri Townsend) of Ladonia, Shanice Aubrey (Terrance Brown Sr.) of Ladonia, Charlotte Aubrey (Clarissa Robinson) of Mississippi and her special son, Courtney Aubrey (Brooke Craddock) of Ladonia. Grandsons: Jacob Aubrey, Quinlan Coleman and Terrance Brown Jr. and granddaughters: Zaianah Aubrey and Trinity Aubrey, her two brothers; Freddie Aubrey and Bobby Aubrey (Peggy), sisters; Vera Aubrey, Betty Williams, Debra Aubrey (Earl) and Peggy Aubrey, her partner of 33 yrs. Glen Young, and, a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Emma and Floyd Aubrey, sister, Helen Jean Lock, niece, Q'Onisha Brown and her nephew Clarence Aubrey.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Cuba, Joe Maxwell, Billy Judkins, Darrel Wilburn, Dante Lewis, Horace Jeffries and Tommy Ross.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carlos Aubrey, Courtney Aubrey, Thurman Lock Jr., Marcus Aubrey, Byron Runnels and Cody Lock.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Ladonia, 301 East Main St. with Rev. Cordell Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ladonia.
